Hails Gov Uzodimma on Leadership, Telegraph Newspapers Awards
Hon. James Esile Uba, who represents Onuimo State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, has disclosed that Imo State has recorded significant values and achievements after 50 years of attaining statehood.
In an interview with journalists in Owerri, recently, Esile said the quality roads, the Orashi Special Energy Free Trade Zone, Accessable Education, Health Insurance Scheme, ICT and Technology Empowerment, Tourism, Hospitality, have added so much to the development, peace and security of the state.
Some of these values and achievements which the lawmaker outlined include Economic Growth, Road Infrastructure, Education, Digital Economy, Healthcare, Infrastructure Development, noting that they are indeed boosting the state’s economy, improving development and relaxation.
He pointed out that the dreams of the forefathers of Imo have been kept alive as the leaders of the state have shown capacity for good governance hence the comfort and the prosperity being enjoyed by citizens and other residents.
The legislator who has been fairly and actively representing the people of Onuimo, said he was happy that God gifted the state with a good, pragmatic and selfless leader who values humanity and prioritizes society development and edification, peace and orderliness.
He added that “the Governor and the people of Imo State have every reason to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the state” which he described as a land of promise, blessed with human and material resources.
Also, on the recognition of Governor Hope Uzodimma with meritorious leadership awards by the Leadership Newspaper and the Telegraph Newspaper, Esile congratulated him.
He said the Governor deserved the awards bestowed on him because he has performed excellently having repositioned the state with good roads, beautiful buildings, increased the state internally generated revenue, restored peace and security, increased salary of civil servants, among other goodies which he added the people benefit from largely.
