The former Deputy Governor of Imo State Prince Eze Madumere has formally resigned his membership of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Madumere, in a letter captioned, “NOTIFICATION OF RESIGNATION FROM THE ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC)”, which he addressed to the Chairman of the party in his Ezenihitte Ward, Mbieri in Mbaitoli Local Government Area, said, “the decision to resign, though difficult has become necessary after a deep personal reflection of his political sojourn in the party. Hence, he sincerely feels that it is time other paths.

The letter of resignation reads in full, “I write to formally notify you of my decision to resign my membership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) effective immediately.

The decision, though difficult, has become necessary after a deep personal reflection on my political journey with the party. I sincerely feel it is time for me to explore new paths.

It is my utmost desire and expectation that we all continue to maintain the cordial relationship that we have built together over the years, in our collective desire to build a better Nigeria”.
