The Imo State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has announced plans to conduct its party congresses in line with the directive of its national leadership, starting from Thursday, April 9, 2026.
According to a statement issued by the Chairman of the Media/Publicity Subcommittee of the Congress, Dr. Amanze Obi, the Polling Unit, Ward, and Local Government Congresses will take place on the same day at 8:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 2:00 p.m., respectively, at venues earlier communicated to party members.
The statement further disclosed that the State Congress will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, commencing at 10:00 a.m.
All registered members of the party are eligible to participate in the congresses and are encouraged to turn out in large numbers for the exercise, described as a significant event in the party’s activities.
