Chief C.Y. Uwaezuoke, a United States based industrialist and a founding member of Orlu Regional Assembly (ORA), has clinched the All Peoples Party (APP) ticket for the Orlu, Orsu, Oru East Federal Constituency seat ahead of the 2027 election.
Uwaezuoke’s emergence as the APP candidate has triggered massive support for the party in the area on the ground that he is free from all kinds of negative controversy and is loved by his people who see him as a humble, focused, and accessible person.
Speaking with Nigeria Watchdog Newspaper,yesterday Uwaezuoke expressed delight over the welcome development. He assured that he will deploy his wealth of experience towards achieving desired objectives in line with the wishes and aspirants of his constituents.
According to him, the issue of development of the component communities has always been of great concern to him, “adding that he believes that the emergence of credible leaders and representatives at all levels of governance is the only option that will definitely change the narrative and enhance the peoples’ welfare.
On the choice of the APP, as a political party, Uwaezuoke, said, “the APP is the most viable option for Imo people in view of the track record of its leaders and what they represent”.
