The Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim & Seraphim Church in Imo State yesterday received His Most Eminence Baba Aladura Dr. David Bob-Manuel (Moses Orimolade IX & Prelate of the ESOCS Church Worldwide) for an Ecclesiastical visit in the state.

The religious leader who was received at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport Owerri by a large number of the church members and leaders was ushered into the state for his Ecclesiastical visit to about eleven provinces and as well perform the official ordination to some chosen members of the church to further help in propagating the word of God at different levels of assignment.

His Most Eminence, Dr. David Bob- Manuel is scheduled to visit the eleven provinces in a twelve days working visit starting from Nkwerre, Orlu, Isu, Egbema/Oguta, Ngor Okpala, Mbaise, Umuapu, Mbieri, Iho-Dimeze Mbieri, Owerri West and Owerri Main. He is also scheduled to depart Owerri on 24th November ,2020.

Addressing Newsmen upon his arrival at the Imo Airport, the Prelate of ESOCS Church Worldwide His Most Eminence Dr. David Bob-Manuel reiterated the desire of the church to continue its evangelical works in making our Lord Jesus Christ known and accepted by the people using every available medium to reach out to the general public, irrespective of tribe, language or colour. 

He maintained that it is the prayer of the church that has been sustaining Nigeria to a large extent, going by the numerous challenges the nation has faced in the recent past.

Speaking on the recently held EndSARS protest in the country by Nigerian youths which was later hijacked by so-called hoodlums, the Prelate called on the government both at the federal and state levels to listen to the genuine complaint made by the youths and fashion out ways to solve them in order to have a more peaceful Nigeria.

He further stressed that Nigeria remains the only country that Nigerians can genuinely call their own and therefore warned against acts that could jeopardize the peace and unity of the country.
