It was jubilation galore in Umuowa Autonomous Community, Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State as Kingseoul Foundation signed an agreement to  sponsor 8 selected indigenous  players from the December 2020, Kingseoul Foundation Football Competition to Europe to join professional clubs.


The agreement came as a sort of Umuowa youths empowerment strategy earlier promised by Chief Kingsley Onyegbule to help reduce unemployment in the area by assuring that the best players are sent abroad for greener pastures. 


It could be recalled that, Chief Onyegbule,  (CEO) Kingseoul Investment Limited has recorded more youth employment,giving opportunities than any other privately owned company as the owner of one of the  biggest multinational firms in the State has done well in job creation. 

Signing  the documents at the palace of HRH Eze Magnus Duruigbo on 20th, March, 2021 were the Foundation, CEO Chief Kingsley Onyegbule(Akuiriri of Igboland) a notable Community Leader and a philanthropist, represented by Hon. Luke Ukwuoma and other members of his organization, the successful 8 players and their spouses in the present of Umuowa traditional ruler and his Cabinets. 


From the record,the beneficiaries are expected to be in Kaduna any moment to joined their counterparts at the former Nigeria Skipper, Tijani Babagida’s Sports Academy in the preparations for their trip to Europe in continuation of their football careers.


In his speech, Umuowa royal father and Chairman Orlu Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Magunus Duruigbo, advised the successful players to utilize the devine opportunity provided to them by the foundation to not only better their lives but also to add enormous value to the community.
Eze Duruigbo, specially thanked the sponsor of the foundation, Chief kingsley Onyegbule who he described as an illustrious son of Umuowa Community,care giver and charity impersonified for the fulfillment of his promises to the people.


He prayed for the players success and also for the replenishment of the organization pulse as the beneficiaries are, Mr. Prosper Mbanaso, Uzoma Michael Anayo, Okoro Chigoziri Paul, Omaka Kingsley Chimaobi, Ekene Dike and three others. 


Speaking, Hon. Luke Ukwuoma shortly after signing the copies of the memorandum of Understanding(MOU) adjoined the beneficiaries to be of good conduct so as to benefit from the whole lots goodies raging from their first camping in Kaduna  football Academy to their further movements in order to actualize the dreams of the organization which will create more international footballers to absorb development of Umuowa Community as well as yield more fruits in the area of  employment and wealth creation strategies to the entire community.


He further harped on the need not to disappoint the trust bestowed on them but on the need for them to succeed at all cost   by  strictly engaged in the reasons and missions abroad and not to play any forms of prank but to concentrate on their football careers.


As the foundation, a most formidable humanitarian services based non governmental organization (NGO) is out to properly take care both in the areas of their feedings, lodging,  visas procurement as well as to ensure that they signed into European based football Clubs, urging them to remain law abiding citizens and good ambassadors of the community.


It would be recalled that,  the maiden edition of Kingsoul Football Competitions trophy was donated by Chief Kingsley Onyegbule(Akuiriri) an illustrious son of the Umuowa Community who is also a notable industrialists, philanthropists and a thriblazer who over the time used his foundations for empowering the youths of his community.


The fiesta was recorded as first of its kind in making the people happy during the 2020 yelutide celebrations as it  featured 12 football clubs drawn from the villages of Umuowa community that participated in the official flag ceremony on the 20th, December 2020.


While the grand finale was on the Sunday, 3 January 2021 at Umuowa Technical Secondary School play ground between the Umuojimma and Uhu village teams that ended 2-0 in favor of Umuojimma.
