Collins Osugwu Foundation fetes Owerri Red Cross motherless babies

A renowned philanthropist and founder of “Collins Osuagwu Foundation” Chief Collins Osuagwu, in his bid to give back to the society and in his selfless service to humanity, has visited the Red Cross motherless babies home Owerri, to put smiles on the faces of the motherless children with bags of rice, cartons of toilet tissue, roles of pampers, cartons of Indomie noodles, soaps, cartons of tomatoes paste as well as vegetable oil cans and cash donations.

 

In his words, the Ugiri Isiala Mbano LGA born, but German based technocrats, Chief Osuagwu, who spoke through his Chief of Staff Comrade Fabian Ayuba disclosed that their Non Governmental Organization (NGO) has taken it as a challenge to ensure steady food supply to the motherless and some tertiary homes in the state. He stated that the Owerri Red Cross motherless babies home has remained the last hope and a succor or a point of survival to the motherless and venerable children. He commended the matrons of the centre for taking adequate care of the children. He maintained that Red Cross motherless orphanage home as an international organization has actually tutored the children to an international standard and promised that Collins Osuagwu Foundation has taken it up on itself to partner with the centre, so that the inmates do not lack anything.

Receiving the items, the matron of the centre who never wanted her name in print thanked the members of “Collins Osuagwu Foundation” for the visit and promised to put all the items into proper use for the benefit of the donees. The highlight of the event was a group prayer offered for Chief Collins Osuagwu by the children at the orphanage.
