The Traditional Ruler of Okwudor autonomous community in Njaba LGA and former Zonal Secretary Orlu Council of Traditional Rulers, HRH Eze Barr. Anayochukwu Ernest Durueburuo, has lost his mother Ezinne Elizabeth Ihuarulam Durueburuo of Umuamuma Umuduruogba Okwudor Njaba local government area of Imo State.

In a funeral announcement by the royal family, the body of the deceased will leave Working D ultra modern mortuary in a motorcade. The late Ezinne Durueburuo will be laid to rest at her husband’s compound, after a brief stop over at the residence of late Elder Mbagwu at Umuehie Umuelem Okwudor, and also at the palace of Eze Barrister Anyayo Durueburuo before a requiem high mass is conducted for her by the Bishop of Orlu Catholic Diocese Rt. Rev. Augustine Ukwuoma at the St. Paul’s Catholic Parish Okwudor on Thursday 19 October 2017 by 10:00am. She was 104 years old.
It could be recalled that late Ezinne Elizabeth Durueburuo was born to late Elder Mbagwu and Uwanyionu Nleta in Umuhu-Duruehie Umuelem in 1913 and was married by late Eze Alphonusu Durueburuo and she was blessed with six children, in-laws and many great, grand children including the traditional ruler of Okwudor autonomous community Njaba LGA, HRH Eze Barr. Anayo Ernest Durueburuo.  She will be remembered for her humanity, community services and charity to the needy.
