The Director General of Women in Support of Youths group Chief Mrs. Josephine Udorji, the immediate past Commissioner for Works and Transport Imo State said her new national women based organization will be inaugurated soon in Abuja FCT as a formidable tool to build the youths to take over the Nigeria mantle of leadership using their digital and youthful strength to rebuild and transform the decayed national socio political economy.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the Kaduna chapter of the group paid a courtesy call on the Director General, Chief Mrs. Josephine Udorji in Owerri Imo State last weekend, Chief Mrs. Udorji said that the organization has all it takes to support the youths to ensure that the needed national transformation is achieved by the next election in 2019. According to her, the women in support of youths group will not leave any stone unturned until a youth is made the president and state governors in each of the 36 states in Nigeria and called on all the women to support the group. She maintained that the national, state and LGA leadership of the group will soon be inaugurated to enable members embark on a massive sensitization and awareness creation campaign, strategy aimed at the realization of their set objectives. She maintained that the women group action would as well fight vigorously to defend women 30 percent affirmative for the women.
The former commissioner for works and transport in Imo State, Chief Mrs. Josephine Udorji who was once rated as the best past serving commissioner in the state said as a progressive minded politician, would never relent in ensuring the realization of their mandate. According to her, youths have all it would take to transform the country.
Chief Mrs. Udorji said she will help to canvass and advise old politicians to support her group to succeed.
