Imo youth leader commends Uche Secondus for emerging victorious

A frontline Imo Youth Leader, Owelle William Evans has commended the PDP National Convention delegates from Imo state and leaders like Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, Senator Samuel Anyanwu and the winner, Prince Uche Secondus for his emergence through a free and fair election.

 

Owelle Evans who addressed newsmen shortly after his return from the PDP National Convention in Abuja last Sunday, 10 December, 2017, said 9 people contested for the post of the PDP National Chairman, which Prince Uche Secondus won the majority votes to occupy the party’s exalted seat while according to him, 2 other contestants earlier withdrew from the race.

In the same vein, Owelle Evans said, Col Akobundu of Abia state emerged as PDP National Organizing Secretary while Imo state born Hon. Gerald Irona won the post of Deputy National Financial Secretary and Chief Peter Orji (Big do) got PDP National Ex-Officio seat. He maintained that a good number of PDP National leaders were present at the occasion including the former President Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, former Vice President, Namadi Sambo, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Chief Emmaunel Iwuanyanwu, Chief Emeka Ihedioha while those absent include, Senator Hope Uzodimma, Hon. Nnanna Igbokwe, Hon. Goodluck Nana Opiah.

He specially thanked the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Senator Godwin Akpabio and Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose for their wonderful contributions to the success of the convention.
