A USA based Imo state community leader and philanthropist, Chief Chuba Ohams has applauded Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha for appointing Prof. Mrs. Emenalo as the state commissioner for Tertiary Education and Non Formal Sector.

Speaking during a get together organized in honour of the commissioner at Okoroduru Ebenator Ekwe community, Isu LGA, recently, Chief Ohams said he is grateful that Okorocha appointed their daughter, an academia into his cabinet. According to him, since the inception of the community, the appointee, though their daughter but married to Isu community is the first who has really salvaged Okoroduru people. He used the medium to extoll the governor for his numerous human oriented and infrastructural projects. While expressing his confidence that their daughter Professor (Mrs.) Emenalo would serve the state better, Chief Ohams tasked the Governor not to relent or be distracted by his dtractors and opponents.

The USA based Imo state born Accountant used the medium to call on all well meaning Imolites to help in the galvanizing community development and youths and women empowerment efforts in the various communities, and to use their wealth of experience to develop the state.

Speaking at the occasion also, the member for Isu in Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Mrs. Ngozi Obiefule thanked Chief Ohams for such a wonderful gesture and for honouring one of their Professor (Mrs.) Florence Emenalo. According to her, the duo would help in fast-tracking development projects to the area. She also enumerated some of her achievements in Imo State House of Assembly and called for more support from Isu people.

Responding, Prof. Florence Emenalo thanked Chief Ohams for the show of love to her and described him as one of the Isu illustrious sons and also thanked Governor Okorocha for appointing her a commissioner which in turn has necessitate the occasion and promised not to relent in attracting a meaningful development to Okoroduru Ekwe community in particular and Isu council in general.

She further advised young Isu people to embrace education if only mainly to utilize the free education to enhance the standard of their learning.
