Members of “Imo Hope for Good Governance (IHGG)”, a political support group for Senator Hope Uzodinma, on the 16th of January, 2020, gathered to celebrate the resounding court victory of the Imo State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodinma.

The meeting was well attended with presence of co-ordinators, women and youth leaders, officers and patrons of Imo Hope for Good Governance including Hon. Chief Val Mbamara, a former Commissioner for Local Government, who advised the group to seek relevance and to contribute to this present administration instead of seeking individual gain.

The Director General, Imo Hope for Good Governance, Hon. Pastor Chris Mbaeri, in his remark thanked the group for gathering to celebrate and appreciate God for the well deserved victory of His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodinma. He described the Governor as the best thing that has happened to Imo State especially now that Imo needs recovery. He expressed his strong faith in the Governor even before the Supreme Court judgement, because Senator Hope Uzodinma is the authentic winner of the 2019 general elections.

Mr Ozuo Marvin Chibuzo, the Secretary of Imo Hope for Good Governance, during an interview section with journalists at the event described the Supreme Court judgement of 14th January, 2020, as a perfect and divine judgement from God, which was heartily accepted by lovers of truth and justice.

In like manner, Hon. Ifeanyi Igboanusi, Director Media and Publicity, Imo Hope for Good Governance while speaking advised his colleagues to participate affectively in this administration, adding that the Governor is a man who carries people along and loves all shades of opinion. According to him, the group should come up with good ideas on how to move the state forward and not to be hoping only on what to gain.

Other dignitaries that graced the occasion include; Mrs Onyinyechi Ben Igwe (JP); the State Woman Leader, Hon. Anaemem Obikaeze A; the State Youth Leader, Chief Ethel Ugwumba, Cordinator, among others.
