Husband to Imo State Commissioner for Happiness and Purpose fulfillment, and former council chairman of Owerri North LGA, Engr. Chuks Ololo, was on 2nd January 2018 conferred with the prestigious chieftaincy title of Ome Nneji 1 of Owerri zone, by the traditional ruler of Obohia Autonomous Community in Ahiazu Mbaise LGA of Imo State, HRM, Eze Dr. Chidume Okoro. Eze Okoro is the Deputy Chairman of Imo council of traditional rulers.
The conferment of the title is part of the political strategy and design to promote and market the candidature of Engr. Chuks Ololo, as the most credible and formidable successor of Owelle Rochas Okorocha, come 2019.
Earlier, Ololo’s wife, Ogechi who is also younger sister to the Governor was elevated to the position of Commissioner for Happiness and Purpose fulfillment, if only to promote them to an enviable socio-political status to learn the ropes on how best to live as governor and wife. The ceremony which held first at the Palace of Eze Chidume Okoro at Obohia attracted a huge crowd before moving to Egbelu-Obube in Owerri North LGA for a lavish entertainment. Since the development, HRH Eze Chidume Okoro, a very close confidant of Governor Okorocha, has been elevated as the new Eze Imo just to prove that Rochas Okorocha is solidly behind Engr. Chuks Ololo’s governorship bid come 2019.
Besides Obohia is home community to Mr Okey Ezeh, frontline governorship aspirant on the APGA platform. The chieftaincy title is therefore a very strategic and significant more to intimate right thinking Imolites on the new thinking and preferences of Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
