Eulogizes publisher for being resolute 

Newly elected officials of the National Association of Imo State Students (NAISS), led by the President, Comrade Anyaoha Tochi C. on Monday 7th May 2018 paid a courtesy call on the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Community Watchdog Newspaper, Comrade Precious Nwadike. The association, while interacting with the publisher, spoke glowingly of the editorial contents, brevity and courage of the editorial team, adding that Community Watchdog is the only golden voice, East of the Niger.
The newly elected NAISS President in his address, explained that they were told how the newspaper has blazed the trail of incisive journalism in protecting the interest of the people of Imo state through unbiased publications and exposure of societal ills.

As a result he argued that the newly elected NAISS executives cannot take off without identifying with the management and staff of Community Watchdog Newspapers in view of what it represents. He hinted that the leadership of NAISS has resolved to recognize and honour all those who have distinguished themselves in various fields of human endeavour at an event scheduled for May 15, 2018 at the 1000 TETFUND capacity auditorium of the Federal Polytechnics Nekede.

Responding to their speech, the Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of Community Watchdog Newspaper, Comrade Precious Nwadike congratulated them for emerging victorious and urged them to remain steadfast in the pursuit of students interests. This he said can achieve through hard work, resilience and uncompromising attitude.

He added that NAISS remains the recognized body of Imo State students at home and in diaspora and that every other body is either an affiliate or imposter.
Among those who accompanied the NAISS President are, Senate President-Emmanuel Dominion, Secretary General- Anele Viola O, Financial Secretary-Eke Ugochukwu, and member- Agoha Sorochi.
