The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Ezekonobi Madumere has heartily congratulated Hon. Emeka Nwajiuba on his divine emergence to represent the good people of Okigwe South.
The Deputy Governor’s message was contained in press release issued by his Special Adviser on media, Uche Onwuchekwa.
Madumere described Nwajibuba’s emergence as an act of God but however admonished him to put his constituents first before himself, saying that leadership is all about sacrifice and ability to bring about solution to the challenges of greatest number of the people.
According to the release, he said: “While I congratulate Nwajiuba on his divine emergence as the representative of Okigwe South in the green chamber, I would encourage him to put the people first. Leadership is all about sacrifice and ability bring about solution to the people’s problems.”
Madumere also stated that Nwajiuba is not new to legislative business, advising him to evaluate the collective yearnings of the people, while marrying it with an already effort of the present President Mohammadu Buhari led federal government in tackling some of these challenges that may either be regional or national in nature.
Congratulating Nwajiuba, the number two citizen of the state called on the people of the state and Nigerians in general to give him support, assuring that he would neither betray their trust nor bungle the opportunity accorded him by God.
