A member of the Interim Management Committee of Ideato South Local Government Area, Hon Mmadumere Victor, has tendered his resignation.

In a letter he addressed to the governor, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, dated, June 28, 2019, Madumere cited lopsidedness in the appointment of Transition Committee members and the fact that, “my name appeared as the representative of Isiekenesi Ward 1, whereas I am from Isiekenesi Ward 2. This is an aberration and injustice against the all inclusive composition of Transition Committee, as directed by the governor”he stated. The PDP chieftain blamed those who nominated and appointed him for the job, for lacking in equity, fairness and justice. He accused them of working against the Rebuild Imo Philosophy.

“I, therefore humbly resign my appointment to make way for the appointment of some body from Isiekenesi ward 1 for equity, fairness and justice. And also put a stop to any further unwarranted verbal attacks/allegations on some leaders of Ideato federal constituency.

Once again, I thank the Governor and the party for finding me worthy to be appointed into the Ideato South Interim Management Committee”.
