The National leadership of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly (OYA), ably led by Engr. Christian Okolie, will on 16th of August 2019, inaugurate the Isu Local Government chapter of the apex socio cultural Youth union of the senatorial zone.
In a release signed by Comrade Chibuike Odunze as National Publicity Secretary, they stated that the exercise will be concluded in six weeks after which the Youth Assembly will organize, “Orlu Youth Summit” which will be followed by a football tournament for the 12 Local Government Areas of the zone.
The release revealed that aside Isu, Orlu Local Government Area and others are ready for inauguration, stating that because Orlu LGA is the headquarters of Orlu zone, the Organization will use the occasion of their inauguration to commission its National secretariat.

When also asked if there is another faction of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly, the former National President of Orluzurumee Students, Odunze stated that, there is nothing like faction. According to him, what we have are over ambitious young people who want to become members without following due process of going to their various communities to register.
Odunze insisted that such persons are not members. “If they claim otherwise let them show their membership card”, he averred.
He called on intending member of the Youth Assembly to reach out to their LGA Coordinators who will in return, link them to their Community coordinators.
The Publicity Secretary cautioned those who abuse the name of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly to be careful of the fact that the body is a registered organization and may begin to approach security agents for arrest of those that impersonate the union. He regretted how people mistake the peaceful disposition of OYA for weakness.
