The House of Assembly member representing Ikeduru State Constituency, Hon Uche Ogbuagu has thrown more light on his recent interview granted to My radio FM, last weekend.
Speaking to some media executives in his Akabo Ikeduru home, Ogbuagu stated that contrary to the misconception some persons, mainly government appointees have about his advice to the governor, he means well for the governor and sincerely wants him to succeed.
He maintained that Imolites expect so much from PDP led government, saying that a lot of them will not accept any excuse for not fulfilling our campaign promises to them.
Ogbuagu averred that his recent visit to Rivers, Bayelsa and Cross Rivers States was an eye opener to him as all these states that should ordinarily give excuses considering the fact that they are more prone to rivers and heavy rains, than us, yet construction works are ongoing on their roads and the people are happy.
The Ace Comedian turned political leader however expressed worry that some politicians who surround Governor Emeka Ihedioha, may not be telling him the truth in order to save their jobs. According to him, most of these people were not there when they started the governorship project and do not understand how particular people like him are making sure the government of Ihedioha excels.
Ogbuagu whose role in exposing the alleged fraudulent activities of Rochas Okorocha led to his release of an album titled; Ka Opuo, has been rated high in performance.
At present, he has begun remodeling of all the markets in Ikeduru and building a stadium for the LGA with his personal fund.
