Since the Commissioner for Information and Strategy to the Hope Uzodinma broke the ice and spilled the beans on how the short-lived Ihedioha administration fleeced the state and laundered about N19. billion belonging to the 27 LGAs within seven months in office, it has been one week one trouble and altercations from both sides.
The latest is the exchange of verbal attacks between Batos Nwadike and Uche Onyeagucha.
The Special Adviser (SA) to Governor Hope Uzodinma on Political Affairs, Chief Batos Nwadike (aka Oyi Ndigbo) had earlier lampooned the former Secretary to the Government of Imo State (SGI) under Emeka Ihedioha’s Rebuild Imo administration, Hon Barr Uche Onyeagucha. Nwadike while appearing on a recent phone in programme on My Radio FM Akabo Ikeduru referred to Barr Uche Onyeagucha as the kidnappers’ lawyer. Nwadike was responding to Onyeagucha’s accusation that Governor Hope Uzodinma was taking credit for what Ihedioha did in seven months and that Senator Hope Uzodinma has nothing to boast of for his first 100 days in office as achievements.
Reacting to what he called vituperative flippancies against him as recently orchestrated by some top government officials with Batos Nwadike as the latest onslaught, the former SSG, Uche Onyeagucha stated that, to him, such llogically disjointed and substantially hollow submissions are nothing but mere rehearsal without any empirical substance and value. Such statement he added can only come from an intellectually deficient mind like Batos Nwadike, who he believes has lost his sense of sound judgement and normalcy.
Onyeagucha went further to state as follows, “ordinarily, I would not have wanted to respond to Batos Nwadike’s incoherent trash, but condescending so low by joining issues with such a first-class charlatan will be a colossal waste of my precious time and also a way of dignifying his idiosyncrasies and giving him unprecedented visibility and recognition which he doesn’t deserve. Batos is not my match!
I am aware that this is nothing but a diversionary gimmick to distract Imolites from asking question on why nothing seems to be working in the state since January 15, 2020″, Onyeaguocha stated.
He accused the present administration of being incapable of moving the State forward.
As if that was not enough, Onyeagucha accused the present administration of leading Imo by propaganda and dared the Governor to point at one project as his 100 days achievement saying that, he has no policy on education, health, tourism, workers welfare etc.
