… Affirm Support For Uzodimma
By Ikenna Orioha
Youths of Okigwe Zone, under the auspices of Okigwe Zone Youth Movement, had advised Senator Ifeanyi Araraume to allow Senator Patrick Ndubueze to enjoy his primary election victory, as well as focus on his 2027 election campaign.
The youth gave the advice during a solidarity rally at Imo Government House Gate in Owerri on Monday.
Speaking through one of the leaders of Okigwe Zone Youth Movement, Comr. Wisdom Amaechi, the youth appealed to Governor Hope Uzodimma to intervene and hence prevail on Araraume to allow Ndubueze to enjoy his primary election victory, as well as focus absolutely on his electioneering.
“We, The Youth Of Okigwe Zone, Call On The Governor Of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, To Prevail On Senator Ifeanyi Araraume To Allow Senator Patrick Ndubueze To Enjoy His APC Primary Election Victory To Enable Him Focus On His Election Campaign.
They said they were very happy with the leadership style of Governor Hope Uzodimma whom they lauded for his developmental initiatives and democratic values in the state.
“We Do Not Need Senator Ifeanyi Araraume Again As Senator For Okigwe Zone. The People Of Okigwe Zone Voted Massively For Senator Patrick Ndubueze During The Just Concluded APC Primary Election”, the youth said in the placards they carried during the solidarity rally.
They expressed satisfaction over what they termed good, quality and all – encompassing representation they get from Ndubueze and vowed their continued support and mandate for Ndubueze in the forthcoming polls to enable him to evenly consolidate what they described as pure democratic leadership in Imo North Senatorial District to lessen poverty, suffering and hardship therein.
Addressing the youth, one of the government functionaries, who did not want his name in print, told the protesters to keep being law-abiding and peaceful as they support the APC, the Governor and Senator Patrick Ndubueze, assuring them that the party will always maintain fairness, uphold the party’s principles and ideologies.
