The management of Imo State Polytechnic (IMOPOLY) Umuagwo, has rolled out process for admission into the National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND) and certificate courses and called on interested candidates who sat for the University and Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), to apply for the Regular, Evening and Weekend and Certificate Programmes of the institution. 

In a release dated 21st May, 2020, signed by the Registrar, Mrs S. Njemanze, prospective candidates including those who did not sit for the Joint Admission and Matriculation Examination (JAMB) are free to apply by following the procedure outlined in the “Mode of Application”.

According to the release, the entry requirement for the National Diploma (ND) Programme is five (5) credits at not more than two sittings as specified in JAMB brochure, while entry qualification for the Higher National Diploma (HND) Programme is National Diploma in relevant courses, five (5) credits at ordinary level at not more than two sittings as specified by JAMB, One Year Post ND cognate working experience in field of specialization for those with minimum of Lower Credit and JAMB online result print-out for the National Diploma admission.

The cost of the admission form is N5,000, while those who did not sit for JAMB are expected to apply through JAMB with N3,500 before applying to Imo State Polytechnic for admission.
