Christian Women have been charged to play their motherly role in the family equally without taking sides with any of their children.
This advice was given by the Honourable Member Representing Ikeduru State Constituency and Majority Leader, Imo State House of Assembly, Amb. Uche Ogbuagu and his wife, the Executive Director of MyRadio 101.1 FM Owerri, Mrs. Nkeiru Uche Ogbuagu.
The couple, who spoke through Mr. Obinna Elegalam, the Human Resources Manager of MYRADIO FM and Media Officer to the Legislator says this is to contain unhealthy rivalry in their homes.
Receiving a LIFE IMPACT AWARD at Assemblies of God Church, Ihitte Isi-Mbieri in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of the State during the grand finale of the Church Women’s Ministries and award presentation day 2020 on behalf of the couple, Mr. Elegalam tasked women to stop comparing their children with others.
According to the Lawmaker, the spate of crimes like Kidnapping, rape, drug Abuse, mad rush for wealth by all means will be curtailed if mothers commit themselves to their roles.
He asks them to constantly pray for the Administration of Governor Hope Uzodinma, who is working tirelessly to reposition Imo and restore her lost glory.
