The immediate past National Vice President, National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) South East Zone, Engr Jen. Udochukwu Wilson, has applauded the governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma for selecting his cabinet members especially the appointment of a seasoned administrator and ex-banker, Dr. Prince Charles Onuoha, Former Commissioner for Housing as a Special Adviser to the governor on Direct Foreign Investment and New Industries.

Engr. Wilson Udochukwu in his commendation letter, described Prince Onuoha as a tested and trusted seasoned administrator who is well articulated and experienced in handling government projects and information policies that impact positively on the people. He pointed out that the coming of Prince Onuoha, former Special Adviser to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) who in 2011/2012 brought firms and honor to the agency through international donor agencies and attracted remarkable human and infrastructural development to improve on the data base of the then MDGs, is a welcome development and blessing to the shared prosperity government.

According to him, Senator Uzodimma as a well trained legislator knows how best to navigate the State government affairs by ensuring that his political mantra is achieved through the engagement of experienced men and women of impeccable characters and international reputation, where necessary.

He maintained that, this is an ample opportunity for intending foreign investors to come to the state and invest as well as using such opportunities for the creations of new industries that will accommodate both small and medium scales entrepreneurs as subsidiaries.

Speaking further, Engr Udochukwu said that this is the time to revive Imo Industrial layouts at Onitsha road and make it to work again. “Prince Onuoha will help us to improve the living standard of investors both the National and International ones while I am aware that Governor Hope Uzodinma has assured on the improvement of both old and new industries. Hope Uzodimma means well for the State. With his robust administrative experiences, Imo State will wear a new look. What we expect here is development as the combination of the governor and Prince Onuoha will surprise the opposition voices and negative critics. They should relax and support the government to succeed first for the interest of all”.
