History was recorded as member representing Isu State constituency in Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Chief (Mrs) Ngozi Obiefule dedicated her August salary to offset examination fees of over 206 candidates sitting for the First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).

The highly respected and responsive amazon added this feat to her catalogue of achievements which are worth celebrating when, at the office of the local government education secretary in Isu right in the presence of the IMC supervisory councilor for education, Mr. Longinus Ezeala, the officer in charge of DSS in the area and the 22 headmistresses of the benefitting primary schools. That was an unparalled outing since the beginning of the new presidential democracy in 1999.

Speaking on behalf of the headmistress and benefitting pupils, the Isu chapter chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, Mr. Nicholas Uzoeshinna declared that Honourable Chief  Mrs Ngozi Obiefule, mayer of Njaba has again demonstrated her love, motherly passion for the future betterment of the next generation and prayed that God may continue to bless and prosper her to work for the service of mankind.  

Speaking to newsmen shortly  after the occasion, Hon Obiefule said that her resolve to pay examination fees of her constituents is to assist their parents who may have suffered untold hardship during the covid-19 lockdown.”I feel their pains.I want to be part of the success story of every pupil as I repose so much confidence in their generation”, the lawmaker stated.
