The remains of late Owerri based human rights activist, legal luminary and President of Civil Liberty Organization CLO, Barr. Wisdom Durueke will be laid to rest in his hometown, Orji-Umuduru, in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area on February 26, 2021 after funeral rites befitting a man of his status.

According to a  family source, there will be service of songs in his honour on February 19, 2021 by 4pm at his residence in Owerri.

There will also be another service of songs in respect of the deceased at his hometown Orji-Umuduru community in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area by 8pm on 25th February 2021.

The corpse of Late Durueke who passed on late last year, will depart from Aladimma hospital mortuary for a valedictory session at the Owerri Court Complex by 9.00am. Thereafter, the body will be moved to Durueke Law firm at No 12 Mbaise Road, Owerri for a brief stop-over. 

From Mbaise Road, the body will leave for his hometown, Orji-Umuduru in Isiala Mbano for  Church service and interment.
