Nigeria’s Ambassador to Ireland, Hon Mrs Ijeoma Obiezu has congratulated Nigerian women on the occasion of this year’s International Women’s day celebration, with the theme:Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world on the way to the Generation Equality Forum”.

Amb Obiezu, in chat with newsmen in Owerri today, urged Nigerian women to always strive to be that which God created them to be as women and vessels of honour, designed to compliment the men folk, make humanity proud and the world a better place for all.

She urged women who are facing different challenges at home, at work or in the society to brace up, take courage and refuse to lose hope or give up, in the face of despair.

The erudite politician, seasoned administrator and tested manager of men and resources who noted that women are naturally imbued with the innate ability to ensure unity of purpose and peaceful coexistence urged Nigeria women to inculcate in their children the right values, moral rectitude and discipline that will make them grow up as responsible and responsive leaders of tomorrow.
