·        Sues  for peace, unity of purpose

The President of Imo State Amalgamated Market Traders Association ISAMATA, Comrade Emmanuel Ezeanochie has condemned in very strong terms the indiscriminate construction of shops in some Imo markets,stating that the leadership of ISAMATA will not support such illegality that will bring bad name to the government of of Imo state.

Ezeanochie stated this while addressing traders at Relief Market, Owerri when he went there for on the spot assessment following persistent phone calls he received about an ongoing building project that blocked the market’s main entrance.

He urged the traders to remain peaceful and seek redress for perceived infractions by channeling their grievances through appropriate quarters stressing that quarreling, fighting and maiming ourselves is counterproductive”.

He urged the traders to always support the present administration in the state, stressing that, “The Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma means well for Imo people and has always been supportive of traders in the state. We should therefore reciprocate his gesture by avoiding acts, conducts and attitude that will heat up the polity or portray the government in bad light”.

“Let there be peace, unity and mutual co-existence among us. I urge you all to eschew bitterness, rancor and acrimony. They are ill-wind that will blow no one good.”
