Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, a seasoned technocrat, entrepreneur, boardroom player and National Convener of the New Nigeria Group (NNG), has been recommended as the most qualified and suitable person to be the President of the federal republic of Nigeria in 2023.
A frontline politician and former Deputy National Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA and the United Progressive Party UPP, respectively, Chief Ejike Uche (Dimkpasaa) who is also the Imo state chairman of NNG made the recommendation at the NNG summit held in Owerri the Imo state capital recently.
Dimkpasaa, who was also the commissioner for Housing and Urban Development and later for Public Utilities in Imo state said, “Ohuabunwa is most qualified to be Nigeria’s president of Igbo extraction considering his corruption free track record, among other virtuous antecedents that distinguish him from other Igbo presidential aspirants, ahead of 2023”.
The Arondizuogu born political heavy weight solicited support and solidarity for the NNG National Convener to become president of the federal republic of Nigeria in view of his enormous contribution to the socio-economic progress of Igbo land, over time.
He maintained that Ohuabunwa is a cultured, disciplined and principled Igbo man with proven integrity, character and unblemished track record who, also has the interest of Ndigbo and Nigerians at heart.
He urged the ward and local government area executives of the group to mobilize, educate and sensitize people at the grassroots for a President of Igbo extraction in 2023, with Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa as the solution to the age long marginalization of Ndi Igbo.
Uche further posited that Ohuabunwa has what it takes to create a functional new Nigeria where the various ethnic groups would co-exist in peace and harmony while making socio-political and economic progress.
Members of the NNG who have exhibited passion and commitment to the emergence of a President of Igbo extraction have consistently drummed support for Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa to emerge as a consensus candidate come, 2023 presidential election in the country.
