The governor of Imo state, Senator Hope Uzodinma on Saturday presented his new book titled “Reflections on the Igbo Question” to the public.

According to Uzodinma, the book puts together his thoughts on some of the Igbo questions and answers stressing that his people, the Igbos have cried enough in the country and and can not be cajoled out of Nigeria.

“Truth be told, we are dominating commerce and industry but we can do better if we put our thinking cap, Igbos should rise and take their rightful place in Nigeria and we can achieve this by unleashing our potentials”.

Speaking further on his new book,  Uzodinma reiterated that the book is not only for the good of  Igbos alone but for the good of the entire country.

In his contribution, the Chairman of the occasion, General Azubuike Ihejirika Rtd, commended the wisdom, courage and doggedness of the books author, Senator Hope Uzodinma,  for his efforts in providing answers and solutions to the bogging questions on the lips of an average Igbo man or woman.

General Ihejirika called on other Igbo leaders at all levels to emulate governor Uzodinma in his drive for the growth and development of the Igbo nation.

Reviewing the book, Prof. Chima Nwaguma of the University of Nigeria, Nnsuka, disclosed that the book is made up of 206 pages and 10 chapters. 

Prof. Nwaguma noted that the book is for the general public and called on every well meaning Igbo son or daughter to get a copy of the book to harness the huge knowledge inherent in it.

The book presentation attracted lots of dignitaries among whom are the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Amb. George Obiozor, former governor of Imo state, Chief Ikedi Ohakim, Prince Charles Amadi the book launcher, former deputy governor of Imo state, Douglas Acholonu, former Senate President Ken Nnamani among others.
