-Accuses Nat’l of swindling him,others
The least has not been heard of the controversial governorship primary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance,APGA held in Owerri 16th April, 2023 as a frontline aspirant to the contest,Dr. Ngozi Aririguzo has taken the state and National officers of the party to the cleaners over what she described criminal plot to further swindle.
She rejected and condemned in very strong term the horse trading that characterised the excercise which she said she wasn’t given opportunity to participate owing to the questionable and dubious manner with which they went about the exercise.

Aririguzo who stated this during a press briefing in Owerri yesterday said she had waited for either the state or National executives to come up with a guideline for the primary but all to no avail.”Surprisely when I got to APGA office at Egbu Road to ascertain what went wrong,I discovered that they had changed the delegate list for non APGA members. This caused uprising to a point that t the people whose name were in the original list started making troubles and when they couldn’t contend the them, they started looking for a alternative to hold the primaries. They changed the venue again twice that same day”.
Dr. Ngozi ,a former state officer of Imo APGA who to many is a woman of integrity,quite unassuming accused the State leadership of APGA of working hard to destroy the party in Imo.
She berated the Imo state chairman of APGA,Chief John Iwuala for not living of up to expectation,noting that, when there is problem in the state it is expected the chairman addresses the problem,however where he fails to do what he ought to do ,the hammer falls on him and at time,he will be left alwho has failed to do what he ought to do to save the party from destruction, the hammer will fall on him.
Aririguzo also accused the national body led by Chief Victor Oye of defrauding her and unsuspecting
Imolites.She said, things must change in APGA that the era of extorting people in the name of selling forms, even though they have made up their mind on who to give their ticket is gone. She regretted that since she bought her form, both National and State body of the party didn’t inform her about the primaries.
