–      As Mbaitoli SOLAD wades in, vows to deal with impostors, fraudsters causing confusion

The Supreme Council of Mbieri Traditional rulers have disowned one Barr Ikechukwu Nwaopara, an Owerri based legal practitioner who they alleged, fraudulently claimed that they hired his services to refute the contents of a publication in the Nigeria Watchdog Newspaper edition of April 14, 2023 wherein, they dissociated and distanced themselves from the purported sack of the Traditional Prime Minister of Obi Mbieri autonomous community, Chief (Dr) Kyrian Ndikom.

The Chairman of the Supreme Council of Mbieri Traditional rulers, HRH, Eze Peter Opara who stated this while reacting to a disclaimer dated April 13, 2023 allegedly written by Barr Ikechukwu Nwaopara on the letter head of the Supreme Council that he was hired by the council to refute the publication it had in the 14th April 2023 edition of Nigeria Watchdog Newspaper, said, ‘’the Supreme Council of Mbieri traditional rulers did not at any time hire or discuss anything about Obi Mbieri autonomous community with Barr Ikechukwu Nwaopara who is known for his involvement in hatchet jobs. The letter said to have been written and circulated by Barr Ikechukwu Nwaopara, as far as the members of the Supreme Council of Mbieri Traditional rulers are concerned, is the product of his imagination and that of his sponsors who are bent on destroying the traditional and customary norms of Mbieri Ancient Kingdom.

The letter said to have been written and circulated to the public onbehalf of the Supreme Council of Mbieri traditional rulers by Barr Ikechukwu Nwaopara is not only fraudulent and mischievous but also  a misrepresentation of facts by a group of desperadoes who do not wish Mbieri well’’.

‘’As Chairman of the Supreme Council of Mbieri Traditional Rulers, I, hereby affirm once again that we have individually and collectively distanced and dissociated ourselves from the purported sack of Chief Dr Kyrian Ndikom as the Traditional Prime Minister of Obi Mbieir autonomous community pending when the Traditional ruler of Obi Mbieri autonomous community, HRH, Eze JN Osuji appears in our meeting to make such pronouncement, otherwise, “the appointment stands irrevocable to us.’’

Effort to reach Nwaopara for his reaction on the allegation proved abortive as his phone line was unavailable.
