It was a day of testimony , prayers, reaffirmation of support and celebration in Ubahaeze and Uzoagba Autonomous Communities in Ikeduru and Mbaitoli Local Government Areas, Imo State, as both  communities received completed classrooms blocks from Distinguished Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi.

The two new modern and standard school buildings which were started only a few months ago, were built at Central School Uzoagba and Ubahaeze Community School. They are the latest projects executed under the lawmakers quality education assurance initiative.

Eze Samuel Ugboaja the traditional ruler of Ubahaeze Autonomous Community who received the team that represented the lawmaker at the handover event,  opened his speech with a  prayer for Distinguished Senator Onyewuchi, asking God to make him His candidate in all his future  aspirations and endeavours.

The monarch expressed profound gratitude to the lawmaker for relieving them of one of the most pressing infrastructural challenges  facing his community in recent years, adding that because of that kind gesture the people of Ubahaeze, will always welcome him to their land with open arms anytime and anyday he comes visiting.

He confessed that the school building was latest show of love for them by Senator Onyewuchi, who he noted has in the past demonstrated his love for Ubahaeze and Orodo Clan generally, with the appointment of their two sons, as well as generous empowerment  of their women. 

Pointing out that the entirety of their people are now convinced more than ever before that the lawmaker truly meant well for them, Eze Ugboaja vowed that he will personally take the lead in galvanizing the support of the people for Distinguished Senator Onyewuchi in the future.

Also speaking in similar emotion laden voices, the presidents general of Ubahaeze and Uzoagba Communities, Engr John Madufor and Chief Johnson Anosike, declared that their people were happy that the lawmaker remembered them in the distribution of dividends of democracy, pointing out that the gesture has future strengthened their faith in his leadership qualities.

The community leaders commended his leadership vision for education in the zone, stressing that his demonstrated passion and commitment to improving quality and standards of the sector, is eloquent testimony of his plan make the zone the hub of quality education in the state.

The president women wing of Ubahaeze Community, Mrs Chikaodi Chukwukere testified to the lawmakers unprecedented effort in human capital development, as manifested in his litany of empowerment programs and projects.

Mrs Chukwueke who declared that the alias of “Mr Empowerment” which was bestowed on him by the masses as their token of appreciation for his legendary empowerment drive, opined that she and many other women of Ubahaeze are  living witness and beneficiary of those gestures.

Mrs Victoria Osuchukwu President Orodo Women Political Forum, said the handover symbolized commencement of the fulfillment of the electoral promises made during the last election by the lawmaker.

Noting that it was no longer in doubt that Distinguished Senator Onyewuchi has so much interest and concern for the women, the children and the youth, the political influencer declared that the sky will be his beginning in his political journey.

The two women leaders made it categorically clear that with the people and development oriented leadership style of the lawmaker, they and the women of Ubahaeze and Orodo Clan have resolved to throw their weight behind him.

The head teachers of the schools that received the school buildings, Mrs Oguguo Angela of Ubahaeze Community School and Mr Theodore Opara of Uzoagba Central School, lauded the lawmaker for solving the most critical problem their schools grappled with, promising to judicious manage and maintain them.

The education secretary for Mbaitoli Mrs Chika Anyanwu thrher representative said the lawmakers vision of providing topnotch learning environment in schools around the zone is worthy of praise, since conducive environment is critical for quality education.

Earlier in their speeches the coordinators of Distinguished Senator Onyewuchi in Ikeduru and Mbaitoli LGAs, Chiefs Goddy Nnadizie and Chijioke Isdore, (Chiglo) reeled out the litany of projects of their principal in both LGAs, Insisting that none of his predecessors worked for Mbaike Clan more than incumbent senator.

Also, speaking the director general of the lawmakers campaign council, Hon Innocent Eke noted that the lawmaker is not only a pacesetter in projects execution, but also runs an open door administration garnished with compassion and love for his people.

He argued that one remarkable thing about the lawmaker is the fact that he never abandoned any projects since he became a lawmaker, insisting that, that was a rarity in a clime infested with that malaise.

Noting that Distinguished Senator Onyewuchi has already executed several projects in Mbaike Clan, Hon Eke  assured the people of the area and zone, that the lawmaker will continue to invest in education and other infrastructures, for the development of future leaders and general growth and development in the zone.
