Nigeria Watchdog Reporter, Dorcas Samson Achi is set to unveil her first literary book titled “The Survivor”.
The book which addresses contemporary issues of the Nigerian society and the challenges faced by the youths in their quest for education, employment, empowerment, enabling environment and accessing the basic needs of life is a must read for every patriotic Nigerian who genuinely seeks for a positive change.
According to the author, the novel upholds the tenets of hard work and integrity amidst frustrating political, economic and social systems in Nigeria and exposes the hostilities and vulnerabilities of the ordinary people, while also giving hope of a good future for the Nigerian Youths who despite their hardship and lack of enabling environment have remained stoic, skillful, hardworking and purposeful.
The author said “The Survivor” is her best way of further expressing her concerns on the failure of leadership and governance in Nigeria, hoping to cause a change in the system and to achieve a country where hunger, hardship, insecurity, unemployment and every atom of hostility will become a history.
