Your undaunted commitment and tireless efforts are the backbone of our state, and it is only fitting that we take a moment to honor and celebrate your invaluable contributions.

I am particularly delighted to witness the strides that Governor Hope Uzodimma has made towards improving the welfare of civil servants and pensioners in our beloved state. Under his leadership, significant progress has been made in addressing the longstanding issues faced by workers, including prompt payment of salaries, pensions and gratuity, as well as the implementation of various welfare schemes to support our hardworking employees.

It is indeed heartening to see the positive impact of Governor Uzodimma’s policies on the lives of our workers. The increase in morale and productivity among civil servants is evident, and the improved living standards of pensioners are evidences to the governor’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of all workers in Imo State. I commend his dedication and vision, and I am optimistic that under his leadership, our state will continue to prosper and thrive.

As we celebrate Worker’s Day, let us not only reflect on the achievements of the past, but also look forward to a brighter future for all workers in Imo State. Together, we can overcome any challenges that may come our way and work towards building a more prosperous and equitable society for all. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed, and I am proud to stand in solidarity with each and every one of you.

I urge all workers in Imo State to continue to strive for excellence and uphold the values of hard work, integrity, and dedication in all that they do. Your contributions are invaluable, and your efforts are deeply appreciated. Happy Worker’s Day to you all, and may God bless you and your families abundantly. Thank you for all that you do”.
