Chief Odinaka Emejuru, erstwhile Deputy National President of Orluzurumee Social Cultural Organization has commended the unification of all Orluzurumee groups with the Hon Prince Ugochukwu Nzekwe-led national executive, describing the development as the dawn of a new era that will herald peace and unity and mutual of purpose in Orlu zone.
According to Emejuru, “the recent collapse of the Orluzurumee faction led by Chief Dr Emma Maduike into the Ugochukwu Nzekwe led mainstream of Orluzurumee is a welcome development. The spirit of sacrifice, tolerance and selflessness manifested by the gesture is not only commendable but should be emulated. Hence, I with a deep sense of responsibility doff my hat for all those who made it possible, particularly the dramatis personae who purged themselves of all encumbrances that would have aborted the reconciliatory move”.
He further said, “now that all Orluzurumee socio-cultural groups have merged into one, it is pertinent that all court cases that emanated from internal grumblings be withdrawn with immediate effect to cement the peace and harmony recently achieved.
“ This unification of all the known national executive bodies of every known faction of Orluzurume should be emulated by the differing Board of trustees of the former factions, the youth formations and the elders councils to ensure that every CAC registration document that has Orluzurume encrypted becomes dissolved and a new registration generated by a new body and working with the Royal fathers of established traditional institutions and their leaderships in the twelve federating local government areas of the zone, a registration that should include patenting of the name; Orluzurume.
Once again, I especially salute Chief Dr. Emma Maduike for the show of humility and wish the new national president of Orluzurume worldwide, a successful and productive tenure.
The coffin of division is now permanently buried and new and all encompassing Apex Sociocultural organisation of Orlu Zone is now made perfect.
