…Says it is committed to redeem Imo from bad governance

As 2027 election draws near, the Action People’s Party (APP), had cleanly appointed interim State Executive Committee that will pilot the affairs of the party effectively and efficiently to enable its victory, thereby strengthening the dying democracy in the state.

The party said it is committed to win the 2027 elections with a view to redeeming the state, restoring dignity, rights, human capital development, as well as sustaining peace and security.

In a release signed and made available to the media in Owerri on Thursday by the APP National Chairman and Secretary, Uchenna Nnadi Esq and Abu Ibrahim Bossan, the party noted that the appointment of the Exco marked a new dawn for the party in Imo State.

“The Action Peoples Party wishes to formally announce to the general public and the good people of Imo State the constitution of Interim State Executive Committee of our great party, APP, Imo State Chapter.

“This marks a new dawn for our great party in Imo State as we consolidate our structures and strengthen our grassroots mobilization ahead of future political engagements.

“The newly appointed members of the APP, Imo State Interim Executive Committee are: Chairman, Hon. Ernest Njesi, Deputy Chairman, Orlu Zone, Barr. Ezeonye Ogemdi B. Deputy Chairman, Owerri Zone, Engr. Henry Alaribe, Deputy Chairman, Okigwe Zone, Mr. Ernest Ezirim, State Secretary, Engr. Emeka Onwukwe, Assistant Secretary, Mr Oliver Ajaegbu, Treasurer, Hon. Kingsley Okonkwo.

“Deputy Treasurer, Chief Leo Okeahialam, Legal Adviser, Dr. Uchechukwu Nwosu, Deputy Legal Adviser, Hon. Clinton Onyeka, Organising Secretary, Hon. Emma Bukar, Publicity Secretary, Mr. Cajetan Akuta C, Deputy Publicity Secretary, Engr. Wisdom Echefu, Financial Secretary, Brent Akomas Chukwudi, Deputy Financial Secretary, Mr Peter Etoh, Auditor, Hon. Ndidi Onyemaechi, Deputy Auditor, Chief Eddy Nwosu, Youth Leader, Chukwuemeka Isdore C, Woman Leader, Mrs Adaobi Ijeoma”, APP added.

However, the National leadership of the party had congratulated the newly appointed officers and urged them to discharge their duties with dedication, unity and integrity, in line with the core values of the party.

The general public, party faithful and supporters have been enjoined to accord the Executive Members full cooperation as they pilot the affairs of the party.
