Youth ICT Skills Empowerment: Unogu Promises To Partner Orluzurumee Youth Assembly

An industrialist, Chief Declan Unogu, the Managing Director, Evergreen Morning Star Pharmaceutical Industry Limited/Vision Drugs Impex Services Ltd, has vowed to support the Orluzurumee Youth Assembly in the empowerment of the youth of Orlu Senatorial Zone on ICT skills.

The vow was made when he received in audience the National Leadership of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly who paid him a courtesy visit at his massive factory, Ndiowerre,  Orlu autonomous community, Orlu Local Government  Area, Imo State, on Monday.

Unogu who sited his multi-million naira drugs industry at his ancestral village, Ndiowerre, Orlu, wherein over 200 workers are happily employed, said he was very glad of the visit by Orluzurumee Youth Assembly.

Urging the Assembly to keep faith in their drive to practically engage the youth of Orlu Zone on ICT and other relevant skills that could make them more useful and productive, Unogu called on other wealthy sons and daughters of Orlu Zone to invest home to strengthen employment, the economy, social peace, comfort and development.

Speaking earlier, the National President of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly, Prince Izunna Obiefule, commended Unogu for investing home, employing Orlu people, as well as boosting the economy, reducing unemployment, poverty and crime in the zone, describing the investment as “Aku Ruo Ulo”.

Obiefule stressed that Unogu’s support to the vision of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly in richly engaging the youth of Orlu Zone on vocational skills would go a long way to enhance security and good living.

Obiefule hinted that Orluzurumee Youth Assembly, with due backing of its Board of Trustees, Orluzurumee Worldwide, is working effectively, solidly and actively to hold representatives of Orlu Senatorial Zone in government accountable.

Obiefule added that the Legislative Assessment Committee set up by the Orluzurumee Youth Assembly is making huge progress in their assignment.

Orluzurumee Youth Assembly heartily appreciated the industrialist for the warmth reception and assured him of their continued efforts to ensure that many youths of Orlu Zone are richly, productively engaged.
