…As Nempi Central Stakeholders Restrategize On Strengthening Security

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Adm. Willie T.C Okolieogwo, has said that Nempi/Eleh Ward is formidably united and would leave no stone unturned to win elections in all polling booths at the Electoral Ward in 2027 and beyond given the party’s achievements across board.

Okolieogwo stated this while addressing leaders and members of APC during a meeting, held on Sunday, at Onyeaghalaumunneya Hall, Nempi, in Oru West Local Government Area of Imo State.

Okolieogwo who is the Apex Political Leader of the Ward, said that the APC administration has done well in all areas, saying the massive support of the people of Nempi/Eleh Ward would significantly add to the victory of the APC in the 2027 elections, thereby consolidating democratic values which he said are embedded in the APC manifestoes.

Okolieogwo added that the unanimous decision of leaders and other members of APC in the Ward to always align, remain loyal and faithful to Hope Uzodimma was largely due to the Governor’s vision, truthfulness, patriotism, good leadership, monumental quality achievements and restoration of peace and security in Imo State.

Maintaining that  Nempi/Eleh Ward had also resolved to give hundred percent votes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Hope Uzodimma and other APC candidates to enable their emergence in the forthcoming polls, Okolieogwo advised members to continue to work in unity to strengthen the party’s structure, warning against anti – party activity.

“We will continue to work in unity to move APC forward in Nempi/Eleh Ward. We will always align with Governor Hope Uzodimma politically and otherwise”, he emphasized.

Among other leaders of APC in the Ward who attended the meeting include; Linus Okafor PhD (Accountant-General of Imo State) and Prince Obinna Obiekweihe, thanked members of the party for being steadfast.

Earlier, Nempi Central Stakeholders have resolved to sustain security, peace and progress in Nempi.

The resolution for sustainable peace and security at the area came during a strategic meeting involving the leaders of the 17 villages and personnel of Imo Security Organization from the three autonomous communities, held on Sunday at Onyeaghalaumunneya Hall, Nempi.

Speaking, the Apex Political Leader in the area, Adm. Willie T.C Okolieogwo, noted that the leaders took a bold strategic step to place the Vigilante outfit on monthly stipends to additionally encourage them on proactive community policing and intelligence gathering, to evenly sustain security in the communities for improved peace, prosperity and progress in line with the vision of the Imo State Government.

Okolieogwo hinted that the seamless peace and security existing in the community, being consolidated by the State Government, would further be improved with rich financial motivation to the Imo Security Organisation.

He remarked that the communities, known for their social, political, cultural viability and organization, would continue to be the envy of other neighbouring communities. 

While appreciating the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, for prioritizing security, peace, infrastructure, welfare, joy and goodness of the citizens, Okolieogwo urged the Members of Imo Security Organization to remain committed while carrying out their assigned duty of effective community policing to strenghten security therein.
