Orluzurumee, the apex socio-cultural umbrella body of the 12 Local Government Areas in Orlu zone, has, in its bid to expand and consolidate its tentacles, embarked on a tour aimed at engaging, mobilizing and inaugurating its women wing in the various communities.
The development which many have described as a step in the right direction started last week in Orlu LGA.
“It signals the conscious effort to enhance women’s involvement in the group’s affairs and also foster unity, and enhance all inclusive leadership within the group.
Thereafter, the inauguration train proceeded to the remaining LGAs, including Orsu, Oru East, Oru West, Oguta, Ohaji/Egbema, Nkwerre, Nwangele, Isu, Njaba, Ideato North and Ideato South. The tour concluded yesterday with the final inauguration in Orsu and Nkwerre.”
A prominent stakeholder who spoke to this reporter on the condition of anonymity said, “we are pleased to share key moments, photos, and videos from each event, recognizing the dedication and vital contributions of Orluzurumee women to our collective progress.
Our shared goal is a more robust, cohesive and welcoming Orluzurumee”.
