Hon. Chibuzor Nwokedi, a humanitarian, public health consultant, and accomplished businessman, has unequivocally pledged people-oriented, grassroots representation for the people of Isiala Mbano Constituency in the 2027 Imo State House of Assembly election on the platform of the Action People’s Party.
He made the pledge while addressing newsmen in his hometown, where he articulated his readiness, vision, and unwavering commitment to Isiala Mbano. He noted that the constituency has long been denied effective representation, and cannot afford to remain mired in underdevelopment, socioeconomic instability, and the persistent deprivation of basic amenities.
Outlining his legislative agenda, Nwokedi declared that he would be a relentless advocate for the rights and welfare of every constituent, champion the interests of the common citizen with unwavering conviction, and speak boldly against injustice, corruption, and every systemic ill that has impeded the constituency’s progress. He pledged to uphold and defend their collective aspirations, pursue far-reaching legislative reforms, and negotiate assertively to secure every entitlement due to Isiala Mbano. Emphasizing equity, he affirmed that the dividends of democracy must be distributed fairly, and assured that under his stewardship, every constituent would receive his or her rightful share of the ‘national cake’, while no opportunity for advancement would elude the people of Isiala Mbano.
Hon. Nwokedi decried the infrastructural decay plaguing the constituency, the absence of meaningful and sustainable youth empowerment programs, and the dearth of basic amenities critical to improving the people’s livelihoods.
According to him, Isiala Mbano is a land of immense opportunities, endowed with vast potential and a pool of resourceful youth. He noted that if strategically engaged, this demographic could drive transformative development, stimulate economic growth, and engender thriving livelihoods across the constituency.
Nwokedi emphasized that his political aspiration is fueled by a deep-seated passion and an unwavering dedication to the welfare of his people. He reaffirmed his commitment to empowering them and harnessing their potential to drive socioeconomic growth in Isiala Mbano, Imo State, Nigeria, and beyond.
