The Imo State Chairman of the Action Peoples Party (APP), Hon. Ernest Njesi, has felicitated the Member representing Ideato North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ugochinyere Michael Ikeagwuonu, popularly known as Ikenga Imo, on the occasion of his 44th birthday.
In a goodwill message issued on Monday, Njesi, on behalf of his family, the State Executive Committee and members of the APP in Imo State, described Ugochinyere as a courageous democrat, exceptional legislator and distinguished son of Imo State whose contributions to nation-building continue to inspire hope and confidence.
According to the APP chairman, the lawmaker’s 44th birthday is not only a celebration of another year but also a celebration of a life dedicated to purpose, courage, conviction and selfless service to humanity.
He praised Ugochinyere’s commitment to the defence of democracy, the rule of law and the welfare of his constituents, noting that these qualities have earned him widespread admiration and established him as one of the leading voices in Nigeria’s contemporary political landscape.
Njesi also reflected on their years of working together, describing the relationship as one built on trust and mutual respect. He said the partnership had provided valuable experiences, particularly in the areas of humanitarian service and supporting people in need.
He further pledged his continued support towards strengthening the lawmaker’s aspirations for effective representation of Ideato North and South Federal Constituency, as well as the pursuit of a peaceful and progressive Imo State and a more caring Nigeria.
The APP chairman prayed for God to grant Ugochinyere greater wisdom, sound health, renewed strength and many more years of impactful service to the nation.
