More facts have emerged corroborating the true situation of the traditional Ezeship Council in Obi -Mberi Autonomous Community in Mbaitoli Local government Council of Imo state based on the Constitution of the community which the People clearly stated that in the absence of the Traditional Ruler , either by incapacitation or transition when God decides, his Traditional Prime Minister takes over the management and supervisions of the Community till the traditional ruler is back and fit. Those against Prof Ndikom should exercise patience until the Eze returns.
A Frontline Community leader in Mbaitoli and Former Special Adviser (SA ) on Security Owerri Zone, Hon. Chief Princewill Ezebuihe Baba Ali disclosed this fact while robbing minds with Newsmen shortly after a strategic stakeholder meeting of some OBI- Mberi leaders on ways to move the community forward . “I saw the position of the leadership of Mbaitoli Local Government on the Obi Mbieri matter, and I stand with the honorable chairman”,Hon Ezebuihe, affirmed.
The Security expert maintained that the mere crisis over the status of Obi-Mbieri traditional Rulership remains Sacrosanct as far as the Constitution of the Community is concerned pointing out that the right and privileges to appoint Traditional Prime Minister is the inalienable right of the traditional ruler of Obi Mbaeri after critical observations duly appointed Prof. Kyrian Onyeji Ndikom, a resourceful Scholar as the Traditional Prime Minister with certificate .
The Eze copied the community both in writing and orally, but those claiming otherwise have no proof.
The traditional ruler has appointed and notified relevant organs of the govt insisting that any other person carrying or claiming himself to be the Traditional Prime Minister in Obi Mbaeri Autonomous Community is an impostor and should be treated as an infidel.
The vocal Community leader, Baba Ali , who once served as special Adviser to Imo state government noted that no community can be administered in isolation even as the doctrine of Necessity advocates for reasonability and conscientiousness which is the panacea for peace and tranquility. Obi Mbieri people will soon speak loudly, he added.
He said no Community exists in Isolation of grand norms and guidelines , as for Obi Mbaeri Communities, there’s no vacuum in the traditional council leadership as we have only One TPM in the person of the Prof. Chief Kyrian Onyeji Ndikom, a well-known encyclopedia of culture and traditions whose ability to drive home the good legacies of the community with his God giving talents and resources
The records as testaments to abounds favorably and immeasurably through his People oriented human empowerment programs acknowledged to be the highest in the entire communities in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State.
Prof. Ndikom have all the rights and privileges to direct in collaboration with other Cabinet Chief’s to consider, encourage and confirms any worthy son of the Community “Obi Mbieri” with any traditional rights as established in the constitution as the Traditional Prime Minister, and the chosen embodiment of the monarch who is unavoidably absent.
