Owerri Club has elected a new executive to pilot its affairs. It was gathered that the Electoral Committee headed by Akajiugo Chidi Anyaso conducted a credible free and transparent election that produced the following as the new executive council, Ezinwa Onyebuchi Obinwa – Chairman, Chief Okey Dike – Vice Chairman, Ik Ogbonna – Secretary, Obinna Ibeh – Asst Secretary, Chief Emma Ebili – Grill Secretary, Dr. Jude Ohanele – Maintenance Secretary, Dr Francis Nnolim – Ordinary Member, Dr. Shah Azu Okorie – Treasurer
They were sworn-in immediately by a Chief Magistrate and Notary Public.
