According to him, Environmental court will soon start operation and such defaulters will be prosecuted inline with ENTRACO law.

As measures to keep Imo clean, Hon Ebere said that his agency will soon begin door to door refuse disposal method, by so doing, it is expected that residents of Owerri and its environs should have their refuse bags handy for easy disposal.

Speaking further, he revealed efforts being made by him and his team to ensure that an end is put to pollution of water bodies in the state. He said, “already, we are talking with a consultant that will tackle the issue of clinical waste which are often hazardous to health when disposed into water bodies. They are professionals. They will handle waste re-cycling of which you know is a global practice”.

Finally, He advised opposition leaders to support Governor Hope Uzodinma, saying that if they must criticize, let them engage on constructive criticisms. He maintained that elections are over and urged everyone to support the government of Uzodinma which has come to put smile on the faces of Imo people.
