The Peoples Democratic Party, Imo State Chapter has been accused of being blinded by sentiments and prejudice that it can’t see or feel the positive impact of Governor Hope Uzodinma’s massive achievements, people oriented programs and policies in just one year in office.

An All Progressive Congress Chieftain and former Chairman of Isu Local Government Area, Hon Uju Okoro, who also contested for the President General of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo stated this in an exclusive interview with Nigeria Watchdog Newspaper in Owerri yesterday.

According to Hon Okoro, “Imo State has never had it so good. It is unfortunate that the PDP and it’s agents of propaganda have failed to take cognizance of the governor’s giant strides in the areas of education, workers’ welfare, infrastructure and other obvious parameters. The Governor is working and gradually fulfilling his campaign promises. For the first time, workers in the State are receiving their salaries promptly and dividends of democracy are abundantly being dispensed. This is unlike what is happening in other states where things have remained stagnant as a result of the Covid-19 induced challenges”

He further stated that, “despite the paucity of funds and various contending factors, the Hope Uzodimma led shared prosperity government engaged Craneburg, a credible German firm to construct roads in the state to enhance socio-economic activities.”

He called on the opposition to concentrate on preparation for 2023 and allow a performing governor who according to him, has won the admiration and applause of Imo people.
