The Management of Nigeria Watchdog Newspaper has, in a bid to reposition the outfit for optimal performance, effected some changes in the Editorial Team.

The former News Editor, Elder Martin Opara is now the Deputy Editor, while Martin Nwoko, formerly a Senior Reporter takes over as the News Editor.

Kizito Duru who was a Reporter with the outfit, has come back as Special Projects Executive and Coordinator of Citizens’ platform, an online publication that affords members of the public immediate reportage of and response to happenings, events and activities in the form of breaking news.

What this implies is that rather than wait for the next publication, news, reports and information about such events will start trending on the Newspaper’s official website-www.watchdogng.com instantly, while the  hard copy will be published in the next edition of the newspaper.

He will also be anchoring a weekly column called, MY PERSPECTIVE, every Thursday.

The Deputy Editor, Elder Martin Opara is a graduate of the International Institute of Journalism (IIJ) Abuja. He also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Journalism.

The News Editor, Martin Nwoko, is a graduate of Mass Communication from the Imo State University, Owerri. He also has a Masters Degree in Mass Communication.

The Special Projects Executive, Kizito Duru has a Bachelors Degree in English Language from the Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education, Owerri and a Post-Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Journalism from the International Institute of Journalism, (IIJ) Abuja.

They have all assumed office.
