The Faculty of Law, Imo State University (IMSU), Owerri, will on Wednesday, November, 17, 2021, hold a day of tribute in honour of a departed Professor of Property Law in the faculty, Reginald Akujuobi Onuoha.

A release from the organizing committee endorsed by the Dean, Faculty of Law, Prof Ine Nnadi invites members of the university community, friends and sympathizers to the occasion scheduled to kick off with a solemn procession at the institution’s auditorium by 11am.

Thereafter, there will be prayers and Christian hymnals by St. Joseph’s Chaplaincy Choir followed by legal and social tributes, documentaries, and solemn prayers.

Most members of the academic community described the deceased Prof of Property Law as a repository of knowledge, a quintessential gentle man and a renowned academic who aside contributing immensely to the growth and development of the law profession left indelible marks on the said of time having nurtured and mentored many outstanding legal luminaries who have made and still making their mark.

“His demise has certainly created a vacuum that would be difficult to fill.”
