Imo political bigwigs and men of upper echelon gathered on Sunday February27,  to celebrate Chief Aloy Igwe (Chinemeze) an astute politician, technocrat and the top contender for Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal House of Representatives seat on the occasion of his birthday anniversary

The celebrant heartily appreciated God with praise and worship during the church service held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Parish, Federal Housing Egbeada, Owerri, for the gift of life, abundant grace and numerous achievements.  He also expressed overwhelming joy at the massive love he received from people who gathered to celebrate with him.

In his remark during the reception, he stated that his birthday anniversaries are usually dedicated to the poor, orphans, motherless babies and the less privileged in the society, adding that he annually doles out cash, gift items and donates numerous things to them while marking his birthday celebrations as his way of providing succour as well as bettering the society.

The chairman of the occasion, Hon Jerry Alagbaoso, the honourable member representing Orlu, Orsu and Oru East Federal Constituency in his remark at the society event expressed profound gratitude to God for the life of Chief Aloy Igwe whom he described as a reputable political leader and stakeholder who has influenced many people positively and has become an inspiration to many.

Chief Uche Best Mbanaso, former Orlu Mayor and a two-time Imo State Commissioner for Works and Transport while speaking with Newsmen extended his warm regards and best wishes to Chief Aloy Igwe and stated that he is at the occasion to celebrate with his brother and friend notwithstanding their political differences. According to him, he is an APC party stakeholder who pays his allegiance only to God but respects friendship and appreciates good people, hence the reason for his presence at the occasion.

Dr Vin Udogwu, a two-time Imo State Commissioner for Health, a successful Medical Practitioner and a PDP Stakeholder whose presence graced the occasion appreciated the celebrant, describing him as a friend and brother. He confessed that Chief Igwe has contributed a lot to the growth and development of Imo state and has remained politically relevant since 1980s till date. He therefore wished him absolute peace and prayed God to lengthen his years and help him to achieve his political aspirations.

Some dignitaries at the occasion were Hon Jones Onyereri, the former House of Representatives member for Nkwerre, Nwangele and Njaba Federal Constituency, Hon Pascal Okorie, the House of Assembly member representing Orlu state Constituency, Chief Osita Nwaneri, Chief B. O Amukamara , Lady Chinyere Okoro, Orlu LGA PDP chairman ,among others.
