What many considered as sudden turn of event in the Rescue mission family was experienced over the weekend when the son-in-law of Rochas Okorocha,Mr Uche Nwosu reportedly  threw his weight behind the re-election bid of Senator Hope Uzodinma.

This is coming barely few weeks after Senator Hope Uzodinma had declared that he would do everything possible to recover every property that belongs to Imo people which is in control of individuals.

The Prof Orikaeze Ajumbe led Panel on recovery of lands belonging to Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education which were forcefully taken by Okorocha and shared to his cronies when Nwosu served as Chief of Staff.

Sources close to government house disclosed to this reporter that Nwosu in a bid to protect his property and avoid further  attacks from Uzodinma, he had to pledge support to the re-election bid of Uzodinma.

It was said that earlier, the Rochas Okorocha family had allegedly gone into plea bargain which didn’t end well. This led to resolving the the lingering APC leadership tussle  for which Daniel Nwafor, who at that time also laid claim to leadership of Imo state All Progressive congress, APC and many others got appointment.

While Macdonald faction of APC was loyal to Okorocha, Daniel Nwafor was loyal to Rochas Okorocha and his son-in-law.
