–         Says;Obi Has Redefined Politics Of Nigeria

Comrade Precious Nwadike, candidate of Labour Party for Orlu State constituency in the March, 25, 2023 state assembly election recently visited the National Youth Leader of Labour Party, Comrade Kennedy Ahanotu, in Abuja.

Nwadike, whose fruitful discussion with Ahanotu centered on the prospects of Labour Party in Imo State, the forthcoming governorship election and the challenges facing Nigerian youths generally, expressed reservation that most youths now see politics as means of livelihood. Hence, they don’t try to seek other means of sustaining themselves.

The renowned Youth Leader and entrepreneur noted that, as far as he is concerned politics is not a profession but a call to service.

Nwadike, who is also the Chairman, Nigerian Union of Journalists, Imo State Council further stated that, “the do or die mentality in the society today is because some people who see politics as a profession rather than as call to service, do everything possible to remain relevant. That is why they don’t know what ideology is, neither does it mean anything to them”.

“Besides, most well meaning Nigerians, including myself believe that the Presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, is the most qualified presidential candidate who has what it takes to address the myriad of problems confronting the country and her people in addition to being a man of impeccable character, integrity and unblemished track record. We are happy that Peter Obi has redefined politics of Nigeria”.

He advised all those who constantly shout Obi-dient to endeavour to behave like Peter Obi.

Responding, the National Youth Leader, commended Comrade Nwadike for finding time to come and visit him in the office.

He said that the party is passionately committed to reclaiming Peter Obi’s mandate, adding that the forthcoming governorship election in Imo State offers another opportunity for the people to liberate themselves through labour party as is now obtainable in Abia state”.
